On 10/24/12, a young woman called my cellphone number to inform me that because I had filled out a Wal-Mart survey, I had won a gift certificate to Wal-Mart, in addition to one year's worth of gas for my car. She navigated me to some site on my computer where I could print out the gas vouchers. She said they would be paid in monthly installments; all I had to do was print out the gas voucher each month, in addition to a small one-time processing fee of $2.99. I checked my bank statement, and I saw where a company by the name of Wakanetwork.net had indeed taken $2.99 out of my bank account on 10/24/12. Then, I noticed that the same company has taken $59.99 out of my bank account today, October 30, 2012. I looked up the BBB on this company and was not surprised to note that the BBB has received numerous complaints against them.
