Dear All,
I Ordered Su-kam Fusion Series 2500 VA Inverter(Price 22942) on 15th October 2012 Order No:917644105. The same has been shipped via Professional Couriers with AWB Number DEL103872828. The same was received by me in person on 25 Oct 2012 around 5:45 PM from the courier Operations Office at Thycaud Trivandrum, Kerala as the courier Informed me that they can't deliver this to my office address as the package was a heavy one. When i received the package I grew suspicious on knowing the package weight to be only 22 Kg as the Sukam Fusion unit weight was 27.5 Kg. so After seeing the package with permission of the courier people i started removing the outer jacket of the package so that i can confirm that correct product is delivered. To my surprise and shock it was a Su-Kam Shark 2500 Inverter(Price 15291) Immediately on seeing this i called up Homeshop18 Customercare on 18601800918, I Spoke to an executive Named Rakesh. I explained My problem to him for which I was told to take the delivery and keep it at home. Inspite of asking several times should i Reject the package so that the package will be sent back to the sender Rakesh Insisted Me to take the delivery. and they will send a replacement package. Beliving on his words I have taken delivery of the Item and kept it at Home.



Rakesh has raised my issue with complaint Number 75614129. for which i have not received a single response.



Now Every time I call I get a Standard response of It will be resolved in 2 Days.



I am worried of loosing my Money Online. and for me around 20K is a Huge sum..



It's 15 Days Since My order, I have not received it yet. My Humble Advice, Do not Order anything on Homeshop18 unless U have lots of your fathers Money and Have all the time in the world to wait and fight with the Company.

I am in the Darkest Part of India(Southern Tamilnadu around 16 hours Powercut per day), And Living without an Inverter for one who has spent most of his Live in Metros(Chennai) is a Living Hell and I really feel bad that I can't give a peacefull sleep to my 1.5 year Old Baby girl. and now Homeshop18 has thrown Oil in to my already Burning Heart.

  • Update 1: I got a Call from a lady who claims to be from Homeshop 18 on 2nd Nov 2012 around 1:30 PM and I was Offered 2 Offers.
    1, To keep using the Product and I will be provided 2000 INR as Cheque. (22942-15291 = 7,651)

    2, To get a Full refund of the Item, but will be processed only after pickup. But cannot tell
    When.

    I accepted with Option 2, but did not talk much as i was not in mood to talk much to that representative whose tone was not good. and who was justifying 7651 is equal to 2000 from HS18.

    Update 2: But the same day I spoke on their Tollfree Number and explained my problem to a New Guy, named Dev Poojari(Name Changed) He was a Floor manager it seems, and he listened to my consern and difficulties i am facing with a kind language, and assured that He will do his best to resolve the issue at the earliest al this happened by 12:00 PM before the first Call I received from the above mentioned Update. All of a sudden I got a Outbound calls from HS18 Bangalore Operation which confirmed that the Replacement will be shipped and an In hand Exchange will be arranged for the same. Now I am Getting Hope on HS18. and waiting for the replacement (This time the currect one) If they could resolve this then I would recomment HS18 for even High Value purchaces. reason is that the shipment will itself take half the money, this is not a laptop or a tablet which can be easily shipped at a lot cost. Shipping charges from Trivandrum to Delhi cost around 3000 INR for 25 Kgs and the new shipment which is going to happen will be around 30 Kgs
