, I am writing about a free consultation I had with Microdot Process LLC. This letter is about an ongoing dispute for full balance on this account 5127030041289798
I went in for a FREE consultation, on May 5th 2-12 I was not told that by me applying to Citi Health Card I was actually have a $1,500 charge put on my account by Microdot Process LLC. I have applied for a health card before and no charge has ever been made before any procedure was done, during the free consultation I was told that the totally amount to be charged to me if I decided to go ahead with the procedure would be $5000.00. I was told by the owner James I was also told that nothing would be ordered or done until I had made at least $2,500.half the payment. I was there about 2 - 3 hours discussing what they would like to do and looking at the different types of hair they offered, they took me into a back room with pictures of people, with before and after pictures and a picture of Mary Jay Blight saying she is one of their customers. They looked at my hair, and then I was lead out to the main foyer. When I first came into their office they asked me for 2 forms of Id I only had my NY driver’s license which they made a copy of and they asked for my SS number and said this was their standard procedure I also had to initial and sign a couple of forms for later if I decide to go ahead and do the procedure so as to save time because I was the last client of the day, they said if I cannot afford to pay for the procedure not to worry I would be able to finance it and it does not matter how long it took to pay for it no work would started until the whole thing is paid for and that some of their clients had been paying monthly for up to 2 – 5 years. The owner said he had a dinner date with his wife after I was lead out to the foyer and we also talked about his health but he wanted to see if I was allegeable for financing.
I said I did not know if I would be approved for that but they can try and apply for it for me. They had already had me sign forms when I arrived so I did not need to sign anything else and that they would give me a copy of the forms I signed earlier on. They said that they were only applying for the card I would not be charged anything and that once I had made up my mind I had 3 days to contact them and not go through with it. I asked if there was a fee for changing my mind and was told a small fee of around $500.00. The lady at the desk said I was approved for $1,500 NOT that they had already charged me $1,500 if I was told this I would have told them not to charge anything to my account I did not give them my permission to do so period. THIS IS AN UNAUTHORIZED CHARGE. I DID NOT GIVE ANYONE PERMISSION TO DO SO WITHOUT MY KNOWLEDGE. I LEFT THIS CONSULTATION WITH THE KNOWLEDGE I HAVE A CREDIT ON MY HEALTHCARD TO BE USED WHEN I DECIDED TO GO AHEAD WITH THE PRODEDURE.

    Since this was a customized product, a deposit was needed to order your new hair. You chose Citi Financing for this purchase; you were given an application to fill out. Your SS# and driver's license was needed to verify your identity. We would not have been allowed to process Citi Financing for you, unless you authorized this with the company. In regards to the statement that this transaction was unauthorized by you is a false accusation.

    We have been aware of your concern and have previously tried to rectify this matter. In order to keep our Customer Service satisfactory, we have offered you a refund back on July 24th 2012. However, you have yet to confirm that you have approved this refund, since you did not sign the cancellation agreement.

    If you are still interested in this offer, then we would be more than glad to process this request. If you would like to continue the dream of more hair, please contact us at 201-569-7339 so that we may show you other options.
