I am looking for a new dog and saw several ads offering cute Pomeranians, Teacup Pomeranians, Maltese, and Yorkshire Terriers for free. Gave a sad story about having to move and couldn't take dogs. These people have American names and e-mail addresses, but when someone TEXTS you back even though you gave them phone numbers and refuses to give you a phone number to contact them, you kind of get an idea that something is not right, considering these people supposedly want to help their little angels find good homes before they leave. They instead send you an e-mail requesting your name, address, phone numbers, etc. and tell you that they are going to ship the dogs to you and you will be charged for the cost of shipping (around $150). I got wise and told them that I would gladly travel to them to pick up the animal and all of a sudden our contact ended. Please do not fall for this scam. If something seems to be too good to be true, it usually is. Also, if you just get a feeling that something is up, follow your gut. These people are getting rich off of good people who just want to adopt precious little puppies and end up getting their hearts broken and their wallets thinned. I hope these people are found and justice is served, soon!!!
