I made a long distance phone call from a pay phone from Cambridge to Brantford, approx. 20 miles, on my credit card. I was totally shocked to receive a charge of $11.49 on my card for a call less than a minute. Called the company and they said the charge was to pay for the operator and all other people involved in the process and there was nothing they could do about it. I advised him that I would report this to the CRTC and local newspapers and VISA to let people know of this scam.
