Three weeks ago I purchased a pair of leather Nike Sweet Classic shoes from Mall Running Shoes (MallRunnings.com). I waited 3 weeks for my shoes to come in the mail because I was under the impression they were being shipped from overseas.
Today I tried to access the website in the hopes that I might find a customer service number I could call, but the website appears to down and there is no trace of it online aside from cached Google search results.
Furthermore, I was never sent a tracking number for my order and from the very begininning I was confused that the name of the recipient of my payment (wen xue wu) didn't match the recipient email address on the PayPal invoice ([email protected]) nor the name of the website (MallRunnings.com).
I became very concerned that I had been taken advantage of and will never receive my item... Especially because during the process of trying to find the website again, the scam complaints on this site came up in the Google search results.
I just filed a dispute with PayPal, and I was immediately offered the option of elevating my dispute to a claim. I'm keeping my fingers crossed that I can get my money back, and am absolutely certain, given all the evidence from my experience and the reports on this site that Mall Running Shoes, etc. is a scam site!! This is the first time I have ever been scammed on the internet and I don't want anyone else to go through this. Please avoid this site!

Mall Running Shoes is a scam. I have also filed a complaint with PayPal. I ordered a pair of boots for $61.00 from Mall Running Shoes on 10/22/12 also and never received them. I just got an Email from PayPal. This is what they said.
In response to your claim, the seller has provided proof of shipment
indicating that the item was shipped to you. Because the seller was able to
provide proof of shipment, we cannot reverse this transaction or issue a
refund. We encourage you to continue to work directly with the seller to
amicably resolve this matter.
After thinking about it I remembered receiving a small package with the return address being wen xue wu. I though it was strange but still did not connect the two. Inside was a flexible pencil.
I also would like to warn don't by from Shoe World, Mall Running Shoes. -
