My first experience with building an online business and website included purchasing help from a reputable company called E Commerce Learning. I am not sure how these other people find out about these things, but I received a call from Success Planning Group and being a newby I assumed from the converstaions that we had, that they were connected with each other so I got out the credit cards and after awhile I discovered that they are not connected. The initial investment was made with a taped conversation that stated that I knowingly gave my money and I could not get it back if I didn't cancel in 3 days. The other investments that I made came with electonic emails that were very clear that I could get my money back within 30 days so I lucked out and went to the post office and airmailed the cancellations within the 30 days. It almost took me that long to discover that they did not have my best intentions in mind. After many phone calls I did receive refunds for another $5,000.00. I actually did receive a prospectus for my business with the name of my company spelled wrong on the first page and a bunch of statistics about how my website was going to be so wonderful, for that $5000.00 investment. I can chalk it up to experience I guess, but that money means so much to me and I feel like a fool for letting them take it from me without checking into them first. Still to this day after being involved for approx. 4 months, as I continue to establish my business on the internet, I am still receiving calls from people that are scam artists. Be very careful and good luck. You will need it.
