I have just received a letter for collection from the so called VIP Readers. In April of this past year, I received a call from a agent and she asked me if I liked to read magazines of which they represented many of them. After I talked it over, and thought how stupid of me to give them my credit card VISA, I had two payments of 39.95 taken from my visa, and then my husband passed away and I contacted them to let them know I no longer could afford these magazines, so please cancel all in coming to me, What a damn fool I was to even consider doing this. I canceled my visa, and informed all the magazines that I did not want any more, and they all agreeded to cancel, but these lousy VIP people have called and called and now I am getting a notice of collection action for the past due of $179.6o. They are full fo s....and don't appear to be any more that a scam. This last letter came froma MRS. S RIDWAY, and if you call the number they have listed, 1-877-343-6282, only a machine will answer. I will not put up with any more of this, and I am sending to you my complaints. I am glad you are able to receive this.
