You and me, buddy. I got suckered into the same scam to make money at home. In my defense, the msnbc link and logo made it look legit. I never occurred to me in a bazillion years it could be fake. So I bought the kit for $99 and then today, two days later, I get a call from a guy from the company saying that they were looking for people who were really serious about doing this big-time and he wanted to 'interview me.' When the sickening realization hit me, I lost it --"big-time". I shouted at him, 'Interview me? If I'm required to go through an interview, don't you think you should of done that BEFORE I paid the money?' At that point he started trying to jabber his way out of it but I cut him off and told him the conversation was over, I was calling the home office to get my money back, and for him to never call me again. When I got home, I called visa to dispute the charge. The rep asked for the name of the company and the date, to which I said Home Profits, and she said, 'Hmmm, I have a $99 charge on the date you stated, but it's charged to Jetset Futures.' Which really outraged me because my receipt for my purchase had a little illustration conveniently displaying what the charge would look like on my visa and it DID NOT say Jetset Futures. So I assume they're trying to disguise the charge hoping people won't notice and just pay. Oh, the slime! I am so angry (mostly at myself) and ashamed and just sick from this. I mean, I'M the one who always advises, 'If it looks too good to be true, shoot it just in case.' How could I have been so dumb? (kick, kick)
