We had traded our truck in as a down payment for a 2010 toyota corolla with $478 payments monthly. They said they would be mailing our license plate in about a week. We drove home in the new car. A few days later they asked us to come in and said the paperwork wasn't done. We went in a second time and signed more paperwork for the payment agreement. Then a few weeks later we were asked to come in again and told that we still hadn't finished the paperwork. We had moved out of town so we had the sales associate meet us to sign the papers for another payment plan. Then a few more weeks after that they wanted us to go in again. We were starting to feel like they were just using us. They still hadn't sent us our license plate and our temp tag was almost expired. We kept asking when we were gonna receive it and they said not till all the paperwork is done. Now we thought by now everything should have been done but according to the dealership it wasn't. They had taken a copy of the drivers licenses and social security cards on the first day we were in there, but now they were saying they still needed copies. It started to feel like they were ripping us off. So the finance manager threatened to repo the car and said we couldn't have the truck back. Now we didn't understand how that could happen when we still had the title. We got mad at the company and tried to work with them to give them the car back and us get the truck back. They said we would have to pay them $2,500 which was as much as they gave us down on the car for our trade in of the truck. Now that really got us mad. We asked if we could do payments and they said no. They said they were repossessing the car and we weren't gonna have a vehicle to drive. We were being ripped off. They repossessed the car last Thursday. Now we are looking for help.
