ON THE MORNING OF 11-16-12,I WENT AND PURCHASED SEVERAL ITEMS TO SELL IN MY SUPERMARKET. I am a restaurant depot card-carrying member.My transportation was filled and so I returned in the afternoon and purchased 50 cases of crix crackers and paid for it with check #10269.Suddenly, someone who claimed to be the owner of the store, said he cannot sell me the item and ordered that the sale be cancelled.I asked him to call the police and after waiting for about 30 mins, I called the police ALSO who subsequently came and spoke TO the said person, then to me.I enquired from the police that I would like to know the reason why I am denied the sale of this item. They said that the man said that I cannot get the sale and so I have to return the item.They also advised me to get in touch with Consumer affairs.As far as I know, Restaurant Depot is a wholesale store not individually owned, and sell goods to card-bearing members of legally owned businesses.I have been buying goods from Restaurant Depot for a number of years at Capital Heights and Baltimore Md and in Ny and this never happened to me. I am claiming discrimination on the part of the person who claimed to be the owner of the Restaurant Depot.I requested a written report from the Police about the incident but all they gave me is a case # 12-321-1924; P/O WARE #3587 SGT NALESNIIC #1775 5.30 PRINCE GEORGE COUNTY PD. I WOULD APPRECIATE IF YOU CAN INVESTIGATE.
