I recieved a text message today telling me to go to targetcontests.com and type in a code number they sent and I can claim my free $1,000 gift card to Target within 24hrs. I know this is some scam because I never entered a contest and Ive recieved others like this from Best Buy where I rarely shop. I want these scams to stop wasting my text messages by sending me this crap. The phone number that it came from was 909-973-8829.

I have read that many others have recieved the same messages. I agree that whoever/whatever this comes back to should have to give each person their so called giftcard. I want the 1,000 gift card I was told I won!!

- I would like this to be looked into. Find out where the number is from and who it belongs to, and shut these scams down!!
