Received a text on my cell phone from 619-985-5943 stating that I won a $1000 gift card from target. The text said to go to targetcontests.com and enter your winning code of 53822 to claim your FREE $1000 target gift card within 24 hours. The text was sent at 3:20am PST on 11/20/12. I googled the text and found that it is a scam. Beware of going to the targetcontests.com website.

- If this person or group scamming people by texts is actually capturing secure info then they should be criminally charged. I realized it was a scam prior to losing any money or having secure data stolen from me.
