- I just got a call like that today. Total scam although I almost fell for it. The scary part is he had my social, birthday, driver license number. I called the local police department, the local fbi, federal trade commission, and credit bureaus immediately afterward. All I had to do is google the guy's number and there are a TON of complaints.
