I vaguely remember an offer made to me while speaking to someone on the phone (for another purchase) that had to do with a membership on something or other which I verbally declined, but since I had given her my credit card number for the item I wanted to purchase, I think she went ahead and signed me up for a "membership" anyway. About 3 or 4 months later charges began showing up on my visa account for "POPULAR PHOTO" AND "wC MON ESSEN FOR HOME". Both of them contained phone numbers which I called and was able to cancel and they re-imbursed me through my credit card
I'm not sure but I think it was when I called time life for purchase of some CD's of Carol Burnett on 9/17/12 Their phone # was 877-846-3901 in Virginia. I got the CD's allright, though
