I recieved a cashiers check in the mail from USbank (Carol Cobbs), Secret Shopper with instructions to western union a portion of the $3970.00 and rate the customer service. I took this cashier's check in the mail thinking is was a real check and there would be no problems. They didn't even look at the check, they just looked at the amount and cashed it. I thought it was kind of odd that they didn't even put a hold on it. The check came back as Alter/Fict. Now my savings account is overdrawn $3970.00 and my bank is going to take me to court for this. I had no idea this was a fake check.
