I went online line looking for an online payday loan. Pacific Advance website stated that they will charge a fee, if I agree to use their sefvices...I declined the service. However, they went ahead and charged my account without my consent. My checking was charged $30 which caused an overdraft amount of $34. I wanted the money refunded. I called the number list on the check draft(1-866-763-7462) and tried to get it cancelled, I was told I had to get the loan to get the money refunded. I told him that I didn't want the loan, and he said I could not get the money back unless I got the loan. This is clearly a scam to defraud people. I have notified my bank which have taken measures to protect my account from unauthorized withdrawnals by this company. I doubt these people will ever refund my account. - I also have received a $30.00 charge to my account which resulted in a $25.00 overdraft charge on 11/20/2012. However my bank is allowing me to file and the money will be refunded to my account. Amazing how these lower than life scam artists are allowed to function when people try, in all earnest, to obtain a loan that none of the 2 big to fail banks will loan to us. Then they have the unmittigated gaul to steal!!!! Oh an no laws protect against this..its perfectly all right for theses scum to take innocent prey! You need to know more of why this country is in the shape it is!!!!!!
