I also received a text message tonight, on an old phone which I was about to give away, after buying a new one. It stated:

" Your entry last month WON! Go to TargetContests.comand enter your winning code 84738 to claim your free $1000 Target gift card within 24hrs."

I hadn't been in Target within the last month so that raised concerns' also that I never win anything... Ever! and definitley not after the week I just had.
But I thought it maybe real, becaause of the recent purchise of a new cell phone, but as soon as I searched it. Many sites popped up right away screaming at me not too. There's no possible way of me loosing any money, as of it being texted to a prepaid phone. But thank you scambook, could've possibly saved my butt!
I called the number it originated from (951)902-9443 and it went straight to a viocemail account. Probably some teenage kid that stopped mastubating for a minute and decided to make honest people think they've won something they could really use in a time of need' like the holidays. If possible someone please track this kid down and beat his (Inappropriate Content Removed)!!!
