I have been receiving calls from 916-287-3958 & 818-449-1123. They would call me a couple of times from the 916 number telling me that i had three criminal charges against my name/ social security number. I would ask how and when this happened they would then tell me that i would have to speak with a supervisor in order to get the info. Which didn't make sense since he was calling from supposely a lawyers office. He wanted to info for my lawyer. And i told him to send that info to my home address if they had all the info. Then i hung up, i tried calling the number back but it was just busy. Okay? If it was a lawyers office i would at least speak with a receptionist. I wasn't able to understand them all that well since i was speaking with someone with a first name then last name carter. They had a very thick accent. This morning around 630 i got a phone call saying i had an arrest warrant and they would be coming for me tomorrow. They told me i defaulted on the pay day loan. I never recieved a pay day loan and they said i commited fraud since i didn't give them the right ssc #. I told them i didn't receive any money. He said he was Aaron smith calling from the crime investagation beuaru. He also had a thick accent. He told me i wasn't able to do anything, i would be going to court after i got arrested. I told him okay, i will be seeing the police tomorrow then. He ended up rushing and telling me god bless you, bye. I was super scared. I ended up looking up the number for my court house. They searched my name and found no arrest warrents. The clerk said she was getting lots of calls about supposely having an arrest warrant. She told me they dont' call you to tell you that. They send you mail. This is a scam.. especially since they didn't tell me a court case number or anything just that i was screwed
