I received a text to my phone at 12:16 AM EST from this number, (832) 584-6187 stating "Your entry last month has WON! Go to TargetWinner.com and enter your winning code 54656 to claim your FREE $1000 Target gift card within 24hrs." The thing is, I thought it was legit because I had submitted a survey off my receipt from Target recently...it wasn't until my husband told me it was a scam that I realized. I called my bank and had my card changed and account secured immediately. It's unfortunate that people try to scam innocent people; especially around the holidays when they're the most vulnerable. Shame on you, whoever you are out there!
