Got a message that my entry had won $1,000.00. I hadn't entered anything so I knew this was a scam. How do they get my cell number. How do I find out where this originated? What can I do to block this type of thing. It has happened before but I didn't do anything about it. I only have so many text messages to use and these things will be using them up.

I received the same message on my Verizon phone about being a winner of a 1000.00 dollar gift card to target.com the thing is I don't ever remember entering any sweepstakes for this? The number of the caller was (724-970-4654) on Dec. 3 2012
