i have recently applied for a loan via city finance...they took all my details and £65.00 they said they were the lenders and this money was for transfer fee of money into my account and admin costs......yesterday the company named above got in touch vua telephone...said city finance had passed on my details....that they were willing to loan me the amount i had asked for, but because they wasnt asking me to have a guarantor, i needed to pay £50.00 via a ukash voucher, then within 20 mins money would be paid into my account....i asked if i could pay usuing my debit card, but they said they didn t take card details over the phone for security reasons, as i would get forms for direct debit set up in 2/3 days...... i paid this via the voucher which they told me where to go in my area to get one.......then was told that his accounts manager would ring me in about 30 mins to confirm details...this other person did ring, confirmed everything an said because of the lateness of the day money would be in my account between 10/10.30 today.....it never appeared...this persons name is jack rowlands...and the numbers he rang me off are.....001212880405, and 00117525167425......i have rung these numbers several times today but no answer......then today a company with a similar name loan and finance....rang me.....i spoke to a dave foster...who sounded very much like the man i spoke to yesterday....he had all my information too, from city finance, said exactly the same as the man yesterday, asking me for another £50.00 today and he would put the loan amount, and the £50.00 i lost yesterday and the £65 i paid city finance.....why would he want to pay me back money that i had had scammed of me if it was nothing to do with him........
