Stonebridge Benefit Service/aka Perfect Home Rewards charged $9.95/mo for 8 mos. to my JCPenney credit card. Company states that I signed up for their services on line when placing an order for JCPenney merchandise. I did not sign up for a "free" 3 mos. service which I'd have to cancel if I didn't want it.
Since I use JCP's credit card frequently, I did not discover the charge from Perfect Home until June 2011. The Company is now saying that a Welcome Package was mailed to me. If it was, I throw away junk mail. They also claim that I rec'd an email confirming enrollment; I do not open emails from unknown addresses.
Have no idea what their service plan is; never ordered it; never used it. They never performed any service for me. I am entitled to a full refund.

- I'm right with you Suzanne, except they did this to my elderly mother. And I didn't find out until 2 1/2 years later! She is out over $280 for something she never used and didn't even know she had. This program was not set up to accommodate an elderly person. It may be a perfectly legitimate program, but it was sold in a slimy and underhanded way. Corporate America preying on the elderly. I would have though JCPenney was better than that. Shame on you JCPenney!
