A person by the name of "Joanne Wilson" described herself as a "collection agent" for "Local Yellow Pages", claiming that our church had on 8/21/13 entered into agreement with said company by way of verbal assent. She then proceeded to playback for me a recorded conversation from that date, in which our church secretary answered a barrage of quick-fire "yes/no" type questions by a salesperson. In my opinion these questions were intended to sound like a questionaire/survey, and it is my belief that our secretary had no understanding of what she was saying "yes/no" to.

I intend to file a complaint with the Attorney General of New York State, Nebraska's AG, and the BBB of both states.

We will refuse to make any payment to this company, and will inform them in writing of our actions & our belief that they were intentionally mis-leading our church secretary & disingenuous in their motives.

Ms. Wilson, when I asked directly, admitted that she was not working for an independent collection agency, but was an employee of said company. She refused multiple requests for the name of her supervisor/department head, and proceeded to hang up the phone on me.
