I ordered the free 14 day trial of mizulean and pura cleanse, but when the package arrived 13 days later, I saw they had included 30 days worth and that I had to cancel before the 14 day trial in order not to be charged $160.00 for the entire month's worth. I phoned them immediately, but there was no answer after 1/2 hour of being on hold, so I immediately called my credit card to cancel the card. At that point, I had only paid the shipping of $12.
They called me back the next day and when I told them I wanted to cancel and would be returning the shipment, I was informed that the trial period was over because the 14 days started on the day it was ordered - not the day that it is received (even though they know when it was received due to the tracking put on the parcel). I told them I had cancelled the credit card and the response was that it would be sent to collections. An hour later, I received a call from someone else there who is a little more used to dealing with upset customers and she offered to put a partial refund on my credit card and I again told her that the credit card had been cancelled. Then she said that as long as I returned 1/2 the order that there would be no further charges. I agreed to return 1/2 the order (only because it would weigh less than the full order - not that I have any intention of using stuff from scam artists). The return parcel (sent with tracking to ensure they don't say they didn't get it) cost another $13.00.

I got off lucky because I recognized what happened one day before they charged any more to my credit card and I cancelled the card after explaining to the credit card company what was going on. If it had taken one day longer to get to me, the charge would have gone on there before I even received it and I'm sure that is what they count on. The post office was just a little faster than they expected.
