on november 17,2012 I recieved a phone call from g.s.s.(general subscription services) stating that I had won a $1000.00 walmart gift card.all I needed to do is agree to subscribe to 5 magazines.I was told the gift card would be fed-xed to me in a matter of days and if I wanted to check on the status of the card,I was given the name of the website to the company handling the gift card.however,when i did go the website,it did not give status of any gift card,actually,it asked that I participate in their surveys and agree to purchase at least 13 goods or servives to qualify for the gift card.when i brought this to the attention of g.s.s.,a person speaking as a reprentative would only tell me to go back to the website and check again,which i did only to get the same result. i then decided to cancel my subscriptions and was told it's too late to cancel,that I had exceeded the 7 day cancellation period,which was never explained to me in the initial conversation.this company cannot seem to explain how the gift card part of the deal works only that they are not affiliated with the website,nor could they explain what happened to the gift card I had supposedly won already,now they tell me I cannot cancel my subscriptions,I smell a rat.
