Someone in a dark van tried to sell me the "IM-6" home theatre system. This happened in the UBC area of Vancouver, specifically Toronto road.
The scammer tried to sell the system by saying he was a delivery man who had more of these systems than he needed to deliver, so he wanted to sell it to make a personal profit. In an effort to pressure me, he explained that he had to return to his boss in 15 minutes and that he didn't have time to go home and take the system for himself.
This was a very elaborate scam, and I was lucky to have dodged it.
