Hello,

I am sending this email because of the horrible customer service I have received from Wizards of the Coast in particular Magic the Gathering Online.

Recently one of their moderators reported me for what they said was a violation of the official code of conduct. Following this report I was messaged by the conduct team from Wizards of the Coast telling me that I had been banned for "hate speech". However, I recorded the chat logs from this incident and no such "hate speech" ever occurred at least not from me.

So in the corresponding messages with the conduct team I indicated this was a false accusation and that I had in no way violated the CoC. Later that day I received another message stating that it was in fact not "hate speech" but instead it was now dubbed "vulgarity" which after reviewing the recorded chat logs from the incidence is again a false accusation.

I once more brought this to their attention and by now I was getting very aggravated with the entire process as it was becoming obvious they had no intentions of helping me resolve the issue.

At this point I began to seek out and research my legal rights since it was apparent they were ignoring my correspondence and refusing to assist me. This conclusion is not just an assumption since they actually stated in a message they sent that they would not respond to me.

It is with great regret that this simple mishap has escalated to such a high level when they could have just admitted their mistake fixed it and moved on... everyone would be happy and I could continue to enjoy their products. However, in light of this I feel I can no longer contribute my hard earned money to a company and or business which dismisses and ignores its customers in such a rude manner.

My next step will be contacting legal defense in order to obtain my investments within the game... and to seek penalties for the false accusations as well as but not limited to the time, aggravation and mental stress caused by the staff within the conduct department of Wizards of the Coast.

P.S.,
In every situation checks and balances are a must to ensure fairness and equality, some oversight and external body should be in place to hold the conduct team and equivalent persons accountable. Had this been the case here it is very likely this all could have been resolved without such difficulty. I encourage Wizards of the Coast to consider this.
