I had a representitive come to my door. He talked us into renting a new high efficiency furnace from Ontario consumer home services and said now that we have a high efficiency furnace our gas cost would be reduced and this would offset the cost of the rental so that my bills would not change at all. Also we could buy the furnace out right at any time which he said was approx $4000.00 so as the months went on the cost would be reduced. On top of this we were told we would get a rebate of $750.00 so take that off of the $4000 we would only owe $3200. This was not the case. My bills more then doubled, I called to purchase the furnace out right and they told me it was over $6500 to buy out not $4000 and the rebate ended up being only $250 not $750. On top of this I called and complained and they agreed that I was lied to and treated unfair and agreed to let me buy out for $3000 and that method of payment would come in the mail in a day or two, after a week it never showed so I called in and kept being told that a manager would get back to me shortly this happened 4 times in one day where no one ever called back. When I finaly did get a hold of a manager he refused to honour the original $3000 dollar buy out I was offered the week before. The company claims to also offer 24 hour service and emergency service which is falls. I called at 8 pm one night and said my furnace wasn't working at all and the house was freezing, they refused to come out until the next day, even after I told them that I had a 6 month old child in the house and we were freezing. they didn't care at all, my 6 month old meant nothing to them, they only care about your cash. The next day a service man showed up in his 4 door sedan car...... not a professional work van with tools and equipment, just some guy in a uniform in his own car with no tools. This company is unprofessional and makes claims that are falls. They continiously lied to me about every aspect of our deal and treated me like dirt
