My husband wanted to but a camera for me for Chirstmas, we ordered it 12/17/12, the website was down so I called the order in. The sales rep told me if I upgraded the battery to an extended life he would include the other for free. We only received one battery, ok no big deal, but the charger for the battery did not work. We had to drive an hour on Christmas Eve just to buy a battery to take pictures for Christmas. Then we noticed that the lens did not zoom as it should have and the camera itself contained no motor. I made several calls to the customer service line. I wanted to discuss the faulty equipment and request a new battery charger. First of all, the customer service sucks! They would transfer without asking me to hold, and finally I was told to send back my camera and lens and they would inspect it to see if it needed to be replaced. I was told I would receive an email telling me when the package was received by them. I had requested an order confirmation from the post office and knew the package was delivered on 12/31/12. I began calling on 01/02/13 to find out if they received my camera. The customer service again were not helpful and always sent me to a voicemail of a guy named Zak, who by the way NEVER returned any of my 6 or 7 voicemails!! Finally, I began asking for a customer service supervisor, and was asked by the rep what the problem was, I advised of my situation and told him NOT to tranfer me to Zak voicemail and the guy says "Oh" and transfered me to the voicemail Again!! I was livid. I will be asking for my money back, this is totally unexceptable.
