I received an email from "[email protected]" dated 25th August 2011 stating that they are sending me quote: "Your monthly automatic recurring order of Resveratrol (Rez-V) has been approved and will be shipping within the next 24 hours!" and that the amount of $39.95 from my credit card (Visa) will be debited. Upon checking my statement I found that the amount of €27.57 (equivalent to $39.95) was debited!! The money was taken by a company called STUBLTD.COM (31/08/2011..25/08/2011 €27.57 PAGAMENTO ON LINE 25/08/2011 11.38 STUBLTD.COM 800 503 2547 MU N. 647373..NB: this was copied from my statement)
At 5pm (GMT+1) I called the 24/7 live chat line and spoke to a representative called 'NUTRA', who kept asking me for my 'full name, email address, last 6 digits of my credit card' in order to cancel my membership. I refused and she said that she could not help me. I really don't know what to do now. This has never happened to me before. Please, please tell me what to do next!!
I have copies of the email, chat history and credit card statement as proof! However, it seems that it is their word against mine doesn't it? BTW, the email sent to me stated that it was a monthly recurring order so that means that they can do this every month..:(
