In November I was ordering a product that I normally do online, and was on a secure page with my personal information when a pop up occurred for "try diet patch for 30 days free for $4.95". I gave it a try and ordered it. When my bank acct was debited for $67.48 on 01/02/13, I called the telephone number the bank gave me. Spoke to Madison. She said the fine print advised me that I had to let them know in 14 days if I did not want to join, only I didn't even get the package until more than 14 days later. I wanted my money back. She told me it was too late, because the second pkg had already been shipped. But that if I would return it, and she gave me an "RMA" number (352571760803631, then they would return my $67.48. When that had not happened, I called them 01/21/13. Marylu who said she was a supervisor, said the $4.95 only paid for S&H, and that the 67.48 paid for the first supply and that there was never a second pkg sent?????? I asked why I was given an RMA number if that were true. I then called Mannatech, on whose site this diet patch solicitation showed up. They knew nothing of this outfit, nor how diet patch had accessed their secure website. At the very least, it is misrepresentation, if not all out bait and switch, in addition an illegal act for accessing a secure web site.
