Regina is an antique and vintage jewelry dealer. She also buys and scraps gold jewelry. I had met her a few years prior at an antiques show in New York where she was selling jewelry. Eventually we became "friends." On June 17, 2011 she called me and asked if she could crash at my house after a show as she was too tired to drive another hour to get home. I consented and she slept on my sofa. The next morning I was making breakfast and the phone rang and I got involved in a conversation for about ten minutes. After I was done with my phone call Regina left quickly without eating. I went into my bedroom and found that $2,000.00 in cash was missing. I had been planning on putting it in the bank that day but it was gone. I called her as soon as I discovered the money missing and all she could say that someone else had to have taken the money, or that I must have misplaced it. I live alone and Regina was the only person who had been at my house for several weeks.
Regina frequents antique shows and flea markets as a dealer in the Northeast ranging from Massachusetts to Pennsylvania and also in Florida and has stayed in the West Palm Beach Wellington area in the winter. She has short curly reddish brown hair, brown eyes, and wears glasses, height is about 5'3" and just slightly on the heavy side. At times her son who is about 20 years old accompanies her to shows. He is tall and thin with straight black hair. She drives a black Toyota Forerunner with New York plates and tows a white Cargo Mate trailer to the shows. Regina always has signs out for Gold buying at the shows.
