Earlier in the month I got this call from a man who's accent I really couldn't understand. He said I was accepted for a grant. It didn't phase me that it was a scam at first because I was actually applying for financial aid at the time. I was so excited to have money for school. He charged me $3.87 at first and said it was a one time charge only. A couple days later I saved enough money to take my favorite cousin out to eat and see a movie. That is when I realized the company had taken all the money I've saved out of my account. It left me so heartbroken because I wanted to have a nice and fun day out with my cousin. They only left me $1.26. This new year isn't starting off so great.
