I got a e-mail from Linda Krause @[email protected] for Merchandise Manager post. Usually I ignore the work from home e-mails but I was fooled by this one because it looked perfect & professional with company profile, employment forms etc., I am supposed to purchase sports gear using my credit card from online stores and get the reimbursement from the company's bank a/c. (suntrust & Chase) You are supposed to get the commission according to the amount you spend on top of your salary. We can hold the goods until the amount is paid off so you have nothing to lose. You will get prepaid shipping bill on e-mail and ship the Items to oversease. You are supposed to remove the invoice due to excise and customs duty. All my shippings were addressed to Ukraine. (Alexander Safarov, STR 5 ROSTOVSKATAYA STR APP 187 61000 KHARKOV UKRAINE) After completing three orders, you are supposed to be officailly employed by the company and you will be issued company's credit card for the purchases. After completing my three orders this way, to my horror all the charges were shown unpaid on my online statement. I almost had heart attack!! I called the bank but they were not very helpful since technically it is not an identity theft. I realized that I got screwed big time. I don't understand how come once the amount is posted on the account for some time and it can kick back after few days.
I called Linda but phone was disconnected.I want public to be aware of this scam. Please spread the word and hope they will catch this crook one day.
