I ordered flowers off of the goflorist.com website, just wanted to get something inexpensive for a friend to cheer up her day. I picked a 19.99 arrangement with 11.99 service fee. On my receipt it says, "As inndicated on your order form, you agree that if your selection is unavailable, a substitution of comparable quality and value will be delivered." Ok that is fine and dandy with me. No where does it say if unavailable we will upgrade you to the next level and charge you an additional charge. When I called them about this after getting an email from paypal about the transaction they pointed me to a disclaimer on their website saying I authorized them to upgrade it by submitting the order. But it also says they will call you if there is a problem with the order. I asked my friend who delivered the flowers and called and spoke with them, they would not give me the price point goflorist.com sent them for the arrangement saying they would have to get permission to disclose that info. I spoke with them around 10am and asked them to cancel the order. The man that answered me told me he would try to get a hold of the delivery person. My friend called me immediately upon receiving the flowers just before 3pm. He could have cancelled the order if he wanted too. I am making a report to the BBB because they have the BBB logo on their website saying they are an accredited member with an A+ rating. If you research them on the BBB website they are not a member and their rating is F. Not only am I reporting them to the BBB but the The Internet Crime Complaint Center but, I am disputing the charge with PayPal. The florist that delivered the arrangement tells me you can tell her how much you want to spend and they will do an arrangement for that amount even though they have a minimum purchase amount. My advice for a lesson learned is take a minute and research the BBB website or google the company for complaints and save yourself a lot of trouble.
