I started with $19.61 on the EBT food card. I had a purchase of $2.98. When the total showed on the EBT receipt it stated I had $9.68 left on the card. Later I went back to that same store (1/21/13) and made a purchase of $2.43. The receipt read $2.67 left to spend on the EBT food card. When I told the cashier their was $11.53 missing he blurted out, you could have spent that at another store. I tried to explain to him that this was the only store I went to during that time to buy cup cakes. They were the only ones that sold them in the area. He didn't help me recover the lost cost. The merchandize ID#540100393, Terminal ID#0002. It seemed to me some that stores registers are stealing the poor's EBT food card totals, leaving them with less and less.
