We also were scammed by ABC TITLE & CLOSING SERVICES & FIRST MANAGEMENT GROUP. We started the whole process on September 18, 2012. We looked up both companies on the Internet to see if they were legit, and we found nothing negative about either company. It started out that we needed to wire $12,097.50 for a transfer fee, and the buyers were to do the same. So we wired the money to Scotiabank in Mexico which is where our time share is. On October 19, 2012 we were sent a letter saying congratulations on the sale of our property, BUT they needed us to send another $12,986.25 for taxes. We also wired that money because we wanted to get back what we had already sent. AGAIN we got another letter saying congrats, BUT we needed to send another $7,338 for Commission & Closing Costs. We wired that figuring that would be it, a closing date was set for November 31st. AGAIN we were sent congrats, BUT they wanted more Mexican taxes. We told them we had no more money left to send. Then we get a letter saying that due to failure ON OUR part to comply with the contract they had no other alternative but to cancel the contract. THEN we get another letter saying in order to get all our money back that we had to wire another $2,500 which was a fee for not complying with the contract. WE HAVE NO MONEY LEFT. Now both myself & my husband have been laid off and really need that money back.
