Order Peyton Place box set. Told originally it would take 2 to 3 weeks. This changed to 3 to 4 weeks due to Christmas. Then it changed to 5 weeks because I was told an extra week was needed to "prepare the package", etc. Also was told the item could not be tracked because in order to offer "free" shipping, they sent it via "small package air frieght". Discovered AFTER I HAD PLACED THE ORDER that absolutely no information concerning this company appeared anywhere on their web site or the "order confirmation" they sent via email. The only way to contact them was through an email address ([email protected]) which sent me the same tired excuses that previous "complainers" like myself received from Gordon Kennedy. After all these weeks this jerk was still giving me excuses as to why I hadn't received the box set. A few weeks ago it finally dawned on me that I was NEVER going to get this box set from them, so I repeatedly requested a REFUND, which they ignored. When I informed Gordon Kennedy (i.e. DVDTiger) that I intended to "dispute" the charge they placed on my credit card since it had been over 7 weeks and I had not received the DVDs, nor had he provided any proof that they had been shipped or that the box set even existed in the first place. He told me that if I disputed the charge he would "deny the dispute and turn me into a collection agency as well as putting a "black mark" against me with the 3 major credit reporting agencies"! He's going to get a collection agency after me when I had already paid for the item and it was never received! At this point I began to research this company and found they are tied to XEO VENT (the actual name that appeared on my credit card)...both have numerous complaints and I believe they are one and the same. By not giving an address, phone number, tracking number or any other information these people are committing internet fraud. They are selling or promising items that they do not deliver. I also found that the Peyton Place Box Set was scheduled to come out sometime back in 2008 or 2009, but didn't materialize. They came out with the first 2 seasons, but I can find NO ONE who actually got the box set. It appears the box set was scrapped. When you check other sites on the internet, there is one "new" box set offered via a "private citizen", but upon further checking, that seems to be another scam.

  • i also ordered a set of dallas from this co.i paid 129.00,the money taken out then and never received product.i have sent them over 15 emails and i got 1 reply saying it was shipped and i would get it soon.still do not have it.there ought to be some way to prosecute people like this?makes you wonder if your next order from online will it be a ripoff?what if a lot of sellers start doing the same as dvdtiger.com some help we need to put a stop to this and i need my 129.00

  • 7) I placed an order of "The Nanny" at dvdtiger for my wife's Christmas gift last dec 01 2012 for $49.00 via credit card payment. Until now the DVDs still not received. I have sent numerous emails with broken replies/promises from Kevin Williams and Gordon Kennedy, both of them are LIARS! Now dvdtiger is closed and these dirty thieves are back and I think they formed CharmDVD.com. I’m not blind and I can also smell some rats!! so be careful and don’t order from this site!!!!
