CENTURYLINK = I ordered the internet. 6 months at $9.99 then $19.99. They sent the router set-up a month before I wanted it - yet I had to pay for the month that I didn't use and it didn't work right when i installed it. It was not working so the repair guy had to come out. I was billed for installation and a router (was never told that I would be charged - they corrected after I bitched). After the 6 months I was billed $34.95 for a router and $4.49 monthly router fee. The $19.99 internet NOW COSTS $51 a month. Called and got the $19.99 charge reinstalled yet I still have to pay the monthly $4.49 router fee - which will not be removed if I purchase my own router. If I stop the service before the 2 year contract they will charge me $200 plus the difference between the $9.99, $19.99 charges and the $34.95 price. So I get ripped for $200 plus approx $15 a month for the time I was with them. Was NEVER TOLD about a router charge, monthly router fee, or the $200 disconnect fee. Worst of all, the service SUCKS. It quits while you're on the net and sometimes doesn't even work at start up for over an hour. I do the check and it always says that the IP is not available. Plus it is hard to read and it does not work well with a Mac. DO NOT GO WITH CENTURYLINK UNLESS YOU ARE STUPID LIKE I WAS. I SHOULD HAVE READ A WARNING BEFORE I STARTED WITH THEM.
