I posted by purebred Boxer puppies on Kijiji and receieved a text asking me to respond to his personal email [email protected] because he was a Marine Engineer out at see at this beautiful dog that he was very satisfied with was for his daughter Sharon.
He stated that the dog would be picked up from my house and shipped first class.Luckily I did not give him any information, and proceeded to ask all my questions, noting how he avoided my questions. He then offered an additional $400 dollars because he had no credit card with him and asked that I transfer that money via Western Union because they needed the payment upfront.
I started getting suspicious and google, reverse lookup his phone number......then I found all of these complaints.
Then I asked myself, my dogs are not rare breeds by any means, why can't he get one from where he is located? I'm not sure how this scam could of played out, but what I do know is that he is looking for purebred dogs and my guess is for a puppy mill. Either way, it is absoluety fricken disgusting and I hope that my complaint will help others from being scammed. I will be posting this on Kijiji as well.
