I tried to book tickets from cheaptickets.com. It is an international flight from PVG to LAX roundtrip. Each ticket costs $939.10. I was booking for three people, so the payment was around $2819 in total. I tried to pay with my credit card, but the website says transaction failed. I checked the account, no active trips information showed there. I tried to buy just one ticket with my other card because I doubt it is because the amount is too big so it doesn't get approved. But once again, it failed.

However, I soon found that the transaction has both been approved. Yet the cheaptickets.com shows I have no active trips, nor have I hold any booking history.

I get a proof from the bank, and tried to contact cheaptickets' custom service. Finally I found a number on their site. But when I call it, it is not a valid number. Till then did I realize it is a scam.

It is so ridiculous, because I searched cheaptickets before, the google results showed positive feedback. Moreover, I actually get the flight information from kayak.com, but after I decided to book it, kayak.com redirected me to cheaptickets.com.

Only when I search "cheaptickets fraud" did some complaints show up. It is completely a scam website. Yet it is related to so many online booking websites like orbtz.com, kayak.com. Who's responsible for so irresponsibly redirecting customers to a fraud?!

I want my money back! It is a huge amount!
