I worked there for two days doing work as a seamstress. Pay by pieces and by % per pieces, so I can work as much I want or as little as I want, no pressure. The first day I work there is 11-13-2012, she put me in a corner away from other 2 workers. The other 2 workers is her own kind and they speak broken English. This woman name Lianna is not very nice she speaks whatever she wants with loud voice, complaint about the things I did for her and said I work too slow and not up to her standard, but yet she let the customer pick up the work I just did without change or redo the work and collect the money from the customer. Then I worked for her the second day 11-16-2012. I work very hard for the work she gave me. She did the same thing complaining about my work and yet she let the customer pick up the work without altering it. She complaint for nothing then I realized that she did it on purpose. After the second day, I decided not to work for her. It's not worth to work with someone like that all day letting her to scream at me for no reason. I called her and let her know that I am no longer wish to work for her. Lianna said she will send me a check for the 2 days of work. I estimated the work at least $200.00. We exchange emails and text message to each other and she kept on finding excuses not to send me the check. She postponed till 12-11-2012 and send me a check in an amount of $70.00 dollars then I told her the work I did for her is more than $70.00 dollar and I listed all the pieces and sent them to her and she agreed to look at them and issue a check for me. And, now is February 6, 2013 and she still not sending me a check and I texted her she had no respond. She had intention not to pay me at all. I would like to report this and let her customer know that that is a kind of person she it. Not a good business woman. A woman takes advantage of her worker. She is also a woman who cheat the IRS. She pay her other 2 worker off the book.
