Aaron had a posting on craigslist in the kalamozoo, mi area regarding a 2003 chevy silverado truck for sale for $1900.
We contacted him via email regarding more info. on the truck, He replied back with some more details and also that he was in Alabama as so was the truck, and that if we decided to purchase it,he would take care of the shipping costs. We decided we would purchase it, and he then let us know that are transaction would take place using ebays pay pal programs, we received emails reportly from ebay regarding this transaction and steps to begin the payment process which included us sended the payment thru western union with the receiver being a Neil Gregory Brock from Birmingham AL. After payment was sent on 2/3/2013 we emailed aaron and let him know that he could start the shipping process. He let us know that he would begin it on monday 2/4/2013 and would get back to us with details, well we hadn't heard anything all day monday so I sent an email wondering what was going on. Aaron then replied back stating that he was having issues with the shipping company and that they were requiring $900 insurance fee to ship which he did not have and asked us to wire him $900 and that we would recieve it back once the truck was shipped. Well this then triggered that this was a scam and after calling ebay confirmed that it was as they had no record of this transcation and western union confirmed that the money had been picked up already. and that the emails from ebay were not actually from ebay. I have reported this to my local authoritites and am still trying to get my money back and press charges against all involved.
