We were on a cruise from Ft. Lauderdale on Eurodam leavine on 1/26/2013 and we were given a letter the first day regarding gastrointestinal problems on the ship. By the third day I was deathly ill (Norovirus)- I thought I would die - a nurse came and said we had to stay in our room until I was better - fourth day my husband also got ill. All they gave us was tylenol and sea sick pills. If I wanted water I had to pay $4 a bottle and if the nurse came again over $100+. There was no gatoraide or koolaide. All the ship gave us was jello and broth - some dried up chicken with some chemical sprayed on it. Crew came with a cloth and wiped one wall - nothing was disinfected - ship never reported this - they should be in violation - never disinfected crew or ship. Germs last over 21 days on surface. Spoke to Dennis Hut and said he would reimburse for water $8. Never saw 2 of islands or any shows. I want my money back with this horrible treatment.

  • I saved for over a year to go on a vacation and forced to eat horrible jello & broth in my room and not to be allowed out of the ship...I would like my money back. We were both treated very poorly and discriminated us - embarrased us - could not use facilities and see entertainment - what a horrible waste of time and effort and money for a vacation from hell. The staff and crew were the ones that spread the disease - they had the worst food in the room and charged us for water and medical care when it was their fault.
