I have been a victim of computer fraud and theft of $6030. from my credit card. I was under the assumption of being hired by Smart Home Engineering. Prior to full time employment I was supposed to serve a one month probationary period. During this probation, I was supposed to purchase products and have them shipped to a client. I was to use my credit card to make these purchases, and the company gave me a bank account number and routing number from Sun Trust Bank. The first purchase went fine. I purchased the product and their account paid my credit card. The second purchase was bounced back from the credit card company (Chase) as non payment. I contacted Alex Summers and he then sent me another account and routing number from Sun Trust. The second purchase was paid. The third purchase however came back from Chase as non-payment. I submitted a smaller portion of the 6031.30 (5900.00) and that came back again as unpaid. At that point Chase cancelled my credit card. So far my credit has not been affected, but I am sure that it will eventually. I signed a contract of employment with this company that states that after the probationary period I would become a full time employee at $80,000 and they would pay me $2000 for the probation period plus extra for the purchasing of the products and shipping them. When the probation was over, the last email that I received stated that I would be receiving a company credit card, the payment, and the location in Philadelphia of the new office that I was supposed to work out of. I have contacted this company many many times both on the phone and by email. I was blocked from their website after the first email inquiring about the position of Project Manager. I also filed a complaint with the BBB in Rhode Island,approximately January 13, 2013 however they said that it was out of their juristiction. I have filed a complaint with the Rhode Island Attorney General on approximately January 18, 2013 by email,which I still haven't heard anything. My credit card has been cancelled by Chase,and I am afraid that my credit rating will also eventually be affected.
