I received a Acceptance Letter(Secret Shopper)letter with a Payroll Check for $1373.55 from WESTAT, Inc. Included in the letter were instructions from a George Horowitz stating that I would be working as a Consumer Service Evaluator and that I was being paid $327.55 for completing two assignments. I was also to transfer $900 via Western Union to a Brittany Veno in Newark, New Jersey. Prior to wiring the $900 George stated that the location was now going to be New York, New York and that I had to make sure to include the (question - Color) and the (answer - Blue). The fee for the wire transfer was $76. The remaining $70 was to be used for my shopping and evaluation of the store. Upon completing my assignments I was to fax the evaluation form back to George (to date has yet to answer my calls!. This has ruined my account with my bank because it is now charged off and I have to be making monthly payments. The only reason I had thought it was legit is because it stated it was a Payroll Check and George made it sound so convincing. Even after I told him I had been unemployed since June 29,2012. Unfortunately, to date I am still unemployed, with a closed bank account and a credit score that has been damaged. I even research the address and the phone number and nothing!
Please help me get my funds back. I don't know how this people can sleep at night!
