I ordered the Santoku Cooking Knife offer on 12/27/2012 under the premise that I could cancel before the free trial was over, keep the knife and not be charged for the subscription besides shipping cost. I called and cancelled the subscriptions well before the free trial was over but to my surprise on 1/31/2013 I saw that they had charged me for the subscription. I immediately called Cooking Pleasures and they informed me that I had 2 subscriptions and only one was cancelled even though I clearly called earlier to cancel. They also said that the item was shipped already. I told them how I cancelled around the 1/17/2013 but they said all I could do was refuse the package then I would get a refund in up to 8 months. I cancelled my subscription with them again then called my bank. I asked my bank to cancel the pending transaction with them so I could get my money back and not get the overdraft fee. I only had $30 in my bank account and Cooking Pleasure $74.90 fee over drafted me by $44.90 not including the $35 overdraft fee from my bank. Yet again to my surprise on 2/7/2013 I saw that Cooking Pleasures charged me the same fee again but this time I didn't catch it while it was pending so I couldn't get my money back. This time I had $40 in the bank so I had $64.90 in overdraft fees. I called Cooking Pleasures again and I got the same story about how it was shipped and I could only refuse it and wait 8 weeks for my money back. But this time I got a tracking number(Fed Ex 9102931502992002520597) and it clearly states that it was shipped on 2/7/2013 even though on 1/31/2013 they told me it was already shipped. They lied to me, this could of been finished on 1/31/2013 but due to their scam I now have an unusable bank account including debt. I used my bank credit to make a purchase on 2/7/2013 before they fraudulently charged me and by Tuesday I can expect the $40 fee for that purchase plus another overdraft fee. Thanks to Cooking pleasures, otherwise I had enough money in my account.
