I was referred to Qresolve by the manufacturer of my compouter, Acer. My initial problem was a USB port that was not working. It turns out that Qresolve would not have been able to fix a hardware issue! I gave Qresolve remote access to "look at" my computer, they told me I had numerous viruses and seemed very alarmed. They spent more time researching my computer but were very reassuring that they could correct everything right away ... then made 1 year service offer of $249.99. A Qresolve representative entered the contract informtion including the "I agree" box. Repair process took over 4 hours during which time the tech was trying to add a program which contained a virus - my anti virus software issued a warning. The tech was ignoring it ... it was necessary for me to scream at him to "take your hands off of my computer now" he kept telling me "you have to bear with me" he told me I did not have to watch him work, he could call me when he was done. I told him I had to watch because I needed to see what he was doing ... then I saw him add a new microsoft word program and I told him to take it off - he said it was a free trial - I said I was happy with what I have - we went around this conversation repeatedly until he said he would remove the new program and restore the old one. I finally became so aggrivated with him that I asked to speak with his supervisor. Another kinder technician took over my call and I was reassured. After 60 days I could not access my word program ... turns out the technician did not remove the trial ... I was left with no access to any of my files. I called another the phone number that popped up on the "purchase this trial product" and discovered what happened. He researched further and discovered that I had a new antivirus program on my computer along with my original one and "they work against each other." I had to enter into a new contract to fix the errors (over 1,000) that occurred since Qresolve touched my computer and had to have themm set up a new word program to recapture my files .... meanwhile my MS word program that I loved is gone along with my hotmail emailaddress! Oh yes, this was a new contract with a new company for another $249.99. And, another 4 hours. By the way, Qresolve is not certified by Mocrosoft as they said they were!
