On or around Nov.18,2012 I Called or Cablevision called me I'm not sure about it . My promotional rates will expire on Nov. 30,2012 and I have good offer from another provider so Cablevision offer me that I will get family Cable W/io ,io South asian Package ,Optimum Online,Optimum Voice with Extended Dial Plan(International calling Service) Which I have previous year only I have to pay $8.00 more every month which I agreed with it.(Total $106 and some change)and the rate will be good up to May 31, 2013.
Until january 16, 2013 we do not have any problem to call India Because as per CABLEVISION promise me that International calls are include. On Jan.16,2013 my wife tried to call India and she did not get through we thought may be some problem in India's provider. after one week she tried again and she did not get through.
On January 23 ,2013 I called Cablevision and complained that I cannot get An International call and talk to Representative SHOWN I explained her all above details she told me that my an International connection was disconnected on January 06,2013 she told me that this is error in Cablevision part I explained her again I requested her where I can complain this to solve these problem she not gave any information and she hangup on me. Then I got called from NICOLAS Supervisor I explain him and he denied and told me that NOT GONE GIVE INTERNATIONAL CALLS ON THIS RATE. I explain him that CABLEVISION promise me on Nov 23, 2012 that this all three services and an International calls are include In $106 and some change and thats why CABLEVISION not charge me from Dec. 01,2012 to now and he told me that this is error , then I requested for where I can complain about this problem he not give me any information and hang-up on me.
Here I request you to Investigate and help me to solve this problem . Cablevision promise me an International calls are included in $106 and some change on 11-23-2012 and after 6-7 wks later CABLEVISION told me that I have to pay $19.99 every month for an International calls, Is this professional practice of CABLEVISION or fraud scam.
